Project offers NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) accredited training on most types and size of construction plant.

These courses require past experience of relevant plant and are conducted on-site. Courses include classroom and practical sessions covering general site safety awareness, risk, hazards and current legislation.

The following courses are available:

• Mini-Excavators
• 360 deg. Excavators
• Site Dumpers
• Skid Steers
• Ride-On Vibrating Rollers
• Loading Shovels

Courses are conducted on-site only.

Dependent on type of equipment and experience of operator but is normally a 1 day course for up to 6 trainees.

• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (P.U.W.E.R.).

A certificate of attendance and a NPORS Registration card (optional) with photo ID are issued on completion of the course.
